Equipment

  • Wooden spoon
  • Measuring spoons and cup
  • Mixing Bowl
  • Food chopper or cutting board and knife
  • Air Fryer
  • Cheese Grater

Ingredients

  • 1 LB Groundbeef
  • 2 Jalapeños
  • 1 cup Shredded Cheese
  • 1 Onion
  • 1 Handful Cilantro
  • 1 tsp Salt and Pepper
  • 2 tsp Chili flakes
  • 2 tsp Ginger

Instructions

  • Gather all your ingredients, wash and measure everything then set aside.
  • Using a food chopper combine cilantro, onion, ginger and jalapeños. Just be careful not to over-process the vegetables into a puree, as larger pieces add texture and flavor.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, diced jalapeño, shredded cheddar cheese, onion, cilantro, salt, pepper, and chili pepper flakes.
  • Mix gently until the ingredients are evenly distributed. Avoid overmixing to keep the burgers tender.Divide the mixture into equal portions and shape into burger patties.
  • Place the patties in the air fryer basket, leaving space between each burger for proper airflow. Air fry for 10–12 minutes, flipping halfway through cooking. Check that the burgers reach an internal temperature of 160°F (71°C).Remove from the air fryer and allow the burgers to rest for 2–3 minutes before serving. Serve on homemade burger buns with your favorite toppings and condiments.
