Ingredients

  • 2 lbs. Chicken
  • 3-4 tbsp. Ghee
  • 1 Onion
  • 1 cup Garlic and ginger
  • 1 tbsp. Curry Powder
  • 2 tsp Garam masala
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Tumeric
  • 1 tsp Chili pepper
  • 1 Tomatoes
  • 1-2 cups Water
  • Cilantro

Instructions

  • Gather all your ingredients, wash, measure everything then set aside.
  • Heat ghee in a large cooking pot oven over medium-high heat. Add in your onions and cooking until the onions have a golden brown color to them. Next add in your spices including gwrlic and ginger and cook for about 30 seconds. Add in your tomatoes and give it all a good mix.
  • Add the chicken to the pot, mix everything together and allow the chicken to cook for about 10 minutes before adding water to the pot. Once the water is added, cover and simmer on low heat for about 30 minutes or until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
  • Garnish with fresh cilantro and serve over steamed rice with naan or roti if desired.
