Equipment

  • Mixing Bowl
  • Measuring spoon and cup
  • Cutting Board
  • Knife
  • Blender or Food Processor
  • Air Fryer

Ingredients

  • 1 lb Ground Beef
  • 1/2 Onion
  • Garlic and Ginger
  • 1 tsp Salt and pepper
  • 1 tbsp Cayenne Pepper
  • 1 handful Cilantro
  • 3 leaves Mint
  • 1 cup Panko

Instructions

  • Gather all your ingredients and equipment. Wash your herbs, measure everything and set aside.
  • Peel the garlic cloves and ginger, place in a food processor and blend until finely minced. Be sure to add about a tbsp of water for easy blending.
  • Wash and cut the cilantro and mint. Chop the herbs into thin fine pieces, then set aside.
  • Cut half an onion into small pieces then set aside.
  • In a large bowl add the ground beef, cilantro, mint, spices (salt, pepper, cayenne pepper, ginger and garlic) and panko.
  • Using your clean hands, mix and combine everything until fully incorporated.
  • Cover the bowl and store in the fridge for an hour or two to help enhance the flavor of the ground beef.
  • Remove the bowl from the fridge. Take a small portion of the meat mixture and roll it between your palms to form a smooth ball.
  • The size will vary depending on how large or small you want the meatballs to be. Be sure to keep them the same size so they all cook evenly.
  • Place the shaped meatballs into the air fryer basket and cook for twenty minutes at 390°F.
