Gather all your ingredients and equipment. Wash your herbs, measure everything and set aside.
Peel the garlic cloves and ginger, place in a food processor and blend until finely minced. Be sure to add about a tbsp of water for easy blending.
Wash and cut the cilantro and mint. Chop the herbs into thin fine pieces, then set aside.
Cut half an onion into small pieces then set aside.
In a large bowl add the ground beef, cilantro, mint, spices (salt, pepper, cayenne pepper, ginger and garlic) and panko.
Using your clean hands, mix and combine everything until fully incorporated.
Cover the bowl and store in the fridge for an hour or two to help enhance the flavor of the ground beef.
Remove the bowl from the fridge. Take a small portion of the meat mixture and roll it between your palms to form a smooth ball.
The size will vary depending on how large or small you want the meatballs to be. Be sure to keep them the same size so they all cook evenly.
Place the shaped meatballs into the air fryer basket and cook for twenty minutes at 390°F.
