If your dates are dry, soak them in warm water for 5–10 minutes, then drain. Gather all your ingredients, measure everything, and then set aside.
In a food processor, add the dates and almond butter. Pulse until a sticky paste forms.
Add oat flour, vanilla, maple syrup, salt, and chocolate chips. Blend again until well combined.
Use a spoon or your hands to roll the mixture into 1-inch balls.
Refrigerate for 15–20 minutes to help them firm up.
Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 1 week or freeze for longer shelf life.
