Salt! I always forget the salt! Whenever I bake, to make things easier for me I grab all my ingredients first and have it sitting close by. Before this, I was all over the place. Things would start smoothly then “Oh sh*t I forgot the salt” or “Cr*p, where’s the flour?” My tip for you, grab ALLLL your ingredients first before you begin baking to avoid the “oh sh*t, I forgot the salt.”

Why You Will Love This Recipe:

To start, the crust melts in your mouth as you bite into it. It is flaky, light and crispy but in all the right places. The crust is also topped with coconut flakes giving you hints of coconut with each bite. The recipe I used is from the book, Book Of Pie, I highly recommend this book to anyone looking for delicious pie recipes.

Secondly, This peach galette is simple to make, much simpler than a pie or tart.

Lastly, the Quaker Brown Sugar Oatmeal soaks up any juices from the peach so you will not get a soggy pie. The peaches are mixed with cinnamon and vanilla extract making this the perfect summer treat.
