I became obsessed with baking a few years ago and took an online course with Baker’s Street. One thing that stuck with me was learning how to properly place parchment paper into my cake pan.

Trust me, this was a huge game-changer!

Today I am going to show YOU how to properly cut parchment paper for round cakes. Before I discovered my cake pan grease I relied heavily on parchment paper. Almost ALL baking recipes call for parchment paper. Bundt pans are much trickier for parchment paper, but take a look at my cake pan grease for your Bundt pan adventures!

Whether you are baking cookies, muffins or even cakes, parchment paper is always on the list of things that you will need.

Using parchment paper may sound like an unnecessary step but it makes releasing cakes from cake pans sooooo much EASIER!

I use this cake grease for most of my cakes, especially Bundt cakes but I also use parchment paper as a bonus for my round cakes.

Let’s get right into it!

Why You Will Love This Method!

Cakes can be a lot of fun to bake, HOWEVER, when it comes to removing round cakes from a cake pan, well …. This can sometimes be challenging.

Typically, once a cake is baked, the sides often loosen more easily than the bottom. However, when the bottom decides to be stubborn, it can ruin the entire cake.

Surprisingly, using parchment paper can prevent a messy situation and, instead, ensure a smooth release, leaving you with a stunning masterpiece without the hassle!

And yes, as I mentioned earlier, you can (and should) use cake grease for ALLLLL your cakes, but using parchment paper can ALSO go a long way.
